Where your money goes Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, millions of pounds were raised last year for your 13 hospitals, improving the health and happiness of patients across Bristol, Weston and South Gloucestershire. We’re committed to making every donation count, ensuring it has the greatest possible impact and brings joy, comfort and hope to those who need it most. By working closely with NHS staff, we see where the need is greatest and we respond. Donations fund transformative and life-saving projects above and beyond what the NHS alone can provide, focusing on four key areas where your support will have the greatest impact. Our four key funding areas: A small proportion of your donation supports the running of the charity and raising funds sustainably. Every pound above that is invested back into your hospitals to fund projects that make a real difference to patients, their families and the staff who care for them. Together we make millions of moments of joy, comfort and hope possible every year. Thank you for helping us do great things for your hospitals. “THEY’VE CHANGED HIS LIFE. IT’S AMAZING WHAT THEY DO.” Suzanne's son, Harrison, has Cystic Fibrosis and was part of a research trial at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. "It was the best thing we’ve ever done really. He’s gone from 70% lung function to 94% and he’s been on the trial now for about 19 months. It’s amazing." One elderly patient, who had a long hospital stay, said the gardening sessions helped him rebuild confidence - from managing the short walk to the garden to creating something meaningful. It made him feel worthwhile. Read more about the impact of the gardening sessions for patients with dementia. HAVE A QUESTION?
