By helping to spread the word, you’re enabling us to do even more for your hospitals, patients and colleagues. Donations on the ward Many patients, families and friends choose to make a donation to say thank you for their care. You or your team may also wish to fundraise to support your hospitals. If you receive donations for Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity directly, you can: Provide a receipt using the donation receipt book on your ward. Pay in donations at our charity shop in the BRI Welcome Centre or the General office at Weston General Hospital. Contact us at [email protected] Please ensure all cheques are made payable to Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity. Once processed, donations are allocated to the appropriate fund. Donors will receive a thank you and learn more about the difference their support will make. If you need a new donation receipt book, please contact our Finance Team at [email protected] and one will be sent to you via internal post. THE LITTLE THINGS FOR YOUR TEAM THE TROLLEY OF JOY A little joy, delivered straight to your team. The Trolley of Joy is our way of saying thank you for everything you do. Designed to brighten up your day, boost morale, and bring moments of joy right to your team. Each month, one team will be randomly selected to receive a visit from the Trolley of Joy during the day. We’ll deliver it at a time that suits you and your team, creating a special moment to pause, recharge, and feel appreciated. > Request the trolley of joy CHARITY MERCHANDISE You may have seen your colleagues using our charity pens, post-it notes, or wearing our lanyards and pin badges. If you would like any of the above, you can pick these up at the BFT Marketplace every Monday morning or get in touch via [email protected]. We also produce an annual wall calendar and desk calendar – but you need to be quick to get your hands on those every autumn. We announce their arrival, don’t worry! We also have official merchandise for sale in our charity shop in the BRI and online, such as sweatshirts, socks, beanies and running t-shirts and vests. BFT staff members get 10% off all merch! All proceeds go to your hospitals. The impact donations make Thanks to donations and fundraisers, we’re able to fund the latest equipment for the best patient care, more comfortable surroundings for treatment, and the latest medical research. Together we can make moments of joy, comfort and hope possible every year.
